How to Use Ground Stakes to Create Physical Boundaries
Ground stakes allow you to create clear physical boundaries without wires, ideal for protecting flower beds or restricted areas.
Steps:
1. Pull out the stake head that’s inside the stake
2. Insert it into the stake cover
3. Space stakes approximately 40cm apart
4. Screw each stake vertically into the soil and secure firmly
Once installed, the stakes form a visible boundary that guides the Raccoon 2 SE effectively.

How to Use Beacons for Zone Mapping
Beacons help the mower recognize narrow passages and multiple zones during auto-mapping.
Steps:
1. Confirm all four beacons (A, B, C, D) are included
2. Before mapping, place beacons at both ends of a passage, arrows pointing at each other
3. Secure beacons inside the lawn edge using pegs, keeping a 10-15cm distance from pavement or non-grass areas
4. After auto-mapping is complete, remove the pegs and beacons
Beacons are only needed during mapping and can be removed afterward. The Raccoon 2 SE will remember the path after the first run.
